Treatments for FSGS Patients with Low Kidney FunctionFocal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is a disease in which scar tissue develops on the parts of the kidneys that filter waste out of the blood (glomeruli). FSGS can be caused by a variety of conditions. Without treatment, primary FSGS may lead to kidney Failure. Generally speaking, if patients are diagnosed with FSGS, they must suffer form the low kidney function, and it is a key for FSGS patients to improve the low kidney function. Please ask our ONLINE DOCTOR for help.

Signs and symptoms of FSGS

The most common clinical presenting feature of FSGS is nephrotic syndrome, characterized by generalized edema, massive proteinuria, hypoalbuminemia, and hyperlipidemia. However, the natural history of FSGS is variable and can range from edema that is difficult to manage, to proteinuria that is refractory to corticosteroids and other immunosuppressive agents, to worsening hypertension and a progressive loss of renal function.

In the collapsing form of FSGS, the disease is marked by severe hypertension, more massive proteinuria, a very poor response to corticosteroids, and a much faster rate of progression to ESRD.

Treatment for FSGS patients with low kidney function

The “four plus seven” treatment in our hospital is a purely natural treatment, which can take great effects to improve the low kidney function for FSGS patients. The “four” means a bottle of Maikang Composition, an oral Chinese Medicine, a dose of external application and a basin of foot bath with Chinese medicine. The “seven” refers to seven external applications, including Steaming Therapy, Hot Compress Therapy, Foot Bath, Circle Therapy, Medicated Bath, Enema Therapy, Frangrance Therapy. These treatments have a great help in expanding the blood vessels, discharging harmful waste, and enhancing the immune system for patients, thus the low kidney function can improve a lot.
